Andhra Delivery Boy’s Inspirational Journey to Becoming a Software Engineer Goes Viral

Shaik Abdul Sathar, from Visakhapatnam, said he worked as a delivery driver for Ola, Swiggy, Uber, Rapido and Zomato.

He did all of these jobs while in college because he wanted to contribute financially to his family.

“I wanted to contribute financially as soon as possible. Because my father is on contract. So we had just enough money to get by. I was very shy at first, but being a delivery man I learned a lot “, he wrote on LinkedIn.

The post goes on to say that Shaik was advised by someone to learn coding. He then talked to a friend, who insisted he take up coding. So he did.

Although he was learning something new, he did not compromise on his work.

Shaik said he does his delivery work from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

With the money he earned, he started building web applications and also worked on a few projects before applying to companies for permanent employment.

Today, Shaik works as a software engineer for Probe Information Services Pvt Ltd (Probe42).

“From a place where I had to be careful with every rupee. I got to a stage where I can clear my parents’ debts with a few months salary. I’m very grateful to NxtWave for being a force that changed my life,” he said. wrote.
