Co-located trade shows for the manufacturing and engineering sector
Messe Frankfurt UK, Nineteen Group and Rapid News Group have announced a three-year partnership to co-locate their manufacturing and engineering events in the UK.
The new collaboration will see Automechanika Birmingham, Design Engineering Expo, Engineering Expo, Manufacturing Expo, Med-Tech Innovation Expo and TCT 3Sixty come together at the NEC Birmingham. The launch edition will take place for the first time from June 8 to 9, 2022.
During this three-year period, the six events will take place side-by-side at the NEC in Birmingham, creating a phenomenal offering for the manufacturing and engineering community from all verticals.
Simon Albert, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt UK, which organizes Automechanika in the UK, the leading trade fair for the automotive aftermarket and supply chain industry: we have an exciting new proposition for the automotive aftermarket and supply chain. UK automotive supply and this partnership in June 2023 further reinforces this opportunity. These events complement each other naturally and by working together we can provide our clients with the most solid platform to do business. Co-location gives the market the best possible reason to take time out of its busy schedule to visit for the duration of the shows.
Ed Tranter, Director of Events at Nineteen Group and behind the launch of Manufacturing Expo, Engineering Expo and Design Engineering Expo explains, “Collaboration and continuous improvement are at the heart of manufacturing and engineering and the Nineteen Group. We are delighted to work closely with other organizations at the forefront of the industry.
“As businesses begin to recover from a year of disruption, there has never been a more important time for our industry to come together to help promote and encourage innovation and see our sectors grow. Trade shows provide the perfect platform for connections between suppliers and buyers with conference programs to give a clear roadmap for a successful future. Co-locating these 6 lounges is an exciting opportunity and ultimately brings more value to the communities we serve. We are stronger together. “
Duncan Wood, Managing Director of Rapid News Group, organizer of TCT 3Sixty, the event for 3D printing and additive intelligence and Med-Tech innovation Expo, the leading medical device design and manufacturing technology event in the Kingdom -Uni said: “The synergy between our show group offers two clear advantages to the market and underpins the rationale for aligning our dates and access protocols. For the visitor, the breadth of solutions under one roof at the same time is unprecedented, time is precious and these roommates allow a potential participant to optimize their time away from the office.
“Likewise, the free flow of visitors to all shows means that the return on investment for exhibitors is significantly improved compared to each of us operating alone on different dates. We are extremely happy to be working with a group of organizations who consider the visitor experience and exhibitor ROI as important as we do, and we look forward to next June.
