Speaking about the team’s 16th season on Sports Illustrated, director Kelli Finglas said she didn’t expect the show to go this far: “I could never have imagined the level of interest in something I did every year. We have ladies who come from all over the country and around the world to try out for our team.“

Scott Fujita writes that Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders earn about “$ 15-20 per hour or $ 500 per game. If calculated over a year, the number they receive is approximately $ 75,000 per year.“
According to BizJournals, since 2019, the salary of cheerleaders has increased from “$ 8 an hour to $ 12 and their pay per game day doubled from $ 200 to $ 400. “

To try out the team and become a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, applicants must be 18 years old and have graduated from high school.
Becoming a DCC takes a lot of dedication, so applicants should be able to show up for rehearsals and other cheerleader-related events.
You must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proof of this. In addition to these requirements, there are no weight or height restrictions on trying the DCC and anyone over 18 can apply too!
