Dr Andrew Megison Joins Oral Surgery Practice

Dr. Andrew Megison has joined the oral surgery team at the Center for Oral Facial Implant Surgery and Associates.

Megison is originally from Chattanooga and attended Baylor School before going to Louisiana State University where he earned a degree in biology. He then obtained his dental degree from LSU School of Dentistry in 2015.

Megison completed a six-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at LSU Health Science Center in New Orleans in 2021, where he also received his medical degree and completed a one-year internship in general surgery.

Gaither and Ibach join the Austin Hatcher Foundation

The Austin Hatcher Foundation announces the addition of two new staff members to its growing team.

Michaela Gaither has joined the foundation as the new Child and Family Services Coordinator.

Gaither holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Lee University and recently received his master’s degree in social work from Louisiana State University. She is responsible for planning enrichment events for families and coordinating care for new and existing families.

“I am thrilled to join the Austin Hatcher team because I have always had a passion for working with children and families,” said Gaither. “I look forward to supporting the families of the Foundation as they receive the incredible services we provide at the Austin Hatcher Foundation.”

Sydney Ibach joined the foundation as a new graphic designer and photographer.

Ibach graduated in Graphic Design from Chattanooga State Community College. She also has extensive experience photographing large events for private parties and organizations in the Chattanooga area. Ibach was the foundation’s graphic design intern before being added as a full-time staff member. She is responsible for supporting the AHFPC mission through brand marketing, creative design and photography.

“I am very happy to join the staff of the foundation because of the incredible mission to which they aspire,” said Ibach. “The impact of AHFPC on the lives of pediatric cancer patients and their families is incredible, and I am very grateful to be a part of it.”

HHM CPA promotes staff

HHM CPAs, a full-service CPA and consulting firm, announces the promotion of professionals within the Chattanooga office. Promotions include senior executives, managers, supervisors and senior accountants.

Dr. Jason Rehm has been appointed vice chair of the Department of Plastic Surgery at the College of Medicine / Health Sciences Center at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
