Dr Scott Metcalfe’s Life Coach Explained: Medicine Married Recap
Dr Contessa Metcalfe’s husband, Dr Scott Metcalfe, had the Married to medicine the crew and fans are scratching their heads this season over the mystery surrounding his life coach.
To recap, Dr Scott first told Dr Contessa that he had been talking to a life coach for about six or seven months. Dr Contessa looked confused as it was the first time she had heard of it, later expressing that she didn’t believe her husband was telling the truth. Later on the trip to Jekyll Island, Dr Scott testified that his life coach was actually male.
We finally got to the bottom of the life coach situation in Part 3 of the Married to medicine Season 8 reunion, airing July 18. As the host, Andy Cohen only spoke to the men about Married to medicine, Dr. Scott admitted that he never had a life coach. “And so, I made it all up, right. I don’t know if I was just immature saying that she had a life coach before me,” he confirmed. “And the way I said it, she knew, after we had this conversation, she knew in her head that I didn’t have a life coach.”
Behind the scenes, Dr Contessa said she still doesn’t know what the truth is. “He says 13 other things 13 different times. Every time he says something different,” she told Dr Jackie Walters and Dr Heavenly Kimes. “I have no idea.”
Dr Scott went on to explain why he seemed to be so taken aback when Quad Webb revealed earlier in the meeting that Dr Contessa had requested separation. “Yeah. Like I said, maybe I misheard it, because the way I heard Quad say, like, it’s active, it’s happening now,” he shared. . “Or maybe Contessa didn’t tell Quad that we were home, that we never left each other, and that we were at home to sort things out.”

When Andy mentioned that Dr Contessa was leaving school to get a master’s degree in public health was partly to give himself some space, Dr Scott said “that was over a year and a half ago. “and they” didn’t really “lead separate lives at the time. It was also revealed that the Metcalfe had put their house up for sale after Dr Contessa requested separation, but Dr Scott then took the list off.
When the ladies returned to join their husbands on set, Dr. Scott explained why he made up that he had a life coach. “Because I wanted him then because I was stupid,” he shared. “It’s okay. I said it.”
Dr Contessa said a moment this season that had “really bothered” her was when Dr Scott showed Dr Eugene Harris and Cecil Whitmore that he had a picture of a beautician on his phone. “I took a before and after photo of myself giving myself a facial,” Dr Scott explained at the meeting, after which Dr Contessa confirmed that he later removed it from. its social networks.
As this part of the meeting drew to a close, Dr Contessa asked where she and Dr Scott were going from here. “We are going to make progress,” she said. “We’ve got to start saying we’re going to identify these things and we’re going to work on these things, because it’s true, kids are a big deal.”

“You don’t stay in a child marriage, but kids are a really good deal,” Dr. Scott added. “We stay in a marriage because we want to, because I know I love her, I know I see so much potential even when we step aside.”
The rest of the group said they were hopeful that Dr Contessa and Dr Scott could work things out.
After the men left the reunion set, Dr Contessa shared with the rest of the Married to medicine Ladies and Andy, how she felt after an emotional day. “I’m fine. It’s okay. I think the only difference is now maybe not everyone will blame me for everything. And I did all I could to work on my marriage. I love my husband. I think he’s the best thing in the world. I’m his number one cheerleader. I’m his biggest fan. But I can’t convince him of that “, a- she declared. “But I’m glad that now he will see maybe that you guys, you know, you support him, you root for our marriage, and that you have good intentions, because maybe then there will open a a little bit more for you. “
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in June following Married to medicine Meeting recording, Dr Contessa revealed that she and Dr Scott had started couples therapy and was “optimistic.”
In an interview with Gasoline Last week, Dr Contessa shared that she was following her therapist’s advice to wait before going ahead with a divorce or making any other important decisions regarding her marriage. “We tabled the first set of documents in March. Well I did, ”she said. “Things have progressed a bit. I am still in therapy and the therapist has asked that we wait six months before doing anything.
Whatever the couple’s future, Dr Contessa said she won’t let it affect their children, including daughters Lauren and Laila and son Landon, or her friendships. “Why do we have to be contentious? Just because there is a problem with our personal relationship. That doesn’t mean it has to be something I argue about in front of my kids or in front of my friends, ”Dr Contessa said. “My daughter is in second grade. We will always and forever be a family. The last thing I will do is let something happen between me and my husband to affect our friendships or family relationships.
