VIJAYAWADA: KL Deemed to be University has organized an international conference on the current scenario of the tourism and hospitality sector for the benefit of the next generation of culinary professionals. Over 200 students from many countries including Canada, Ethiopia, Liberia and India, prominent overseas chefs and representatives from the state tourism department attended the event.

Dr G Pardha Saradhi Varma, VC of the University, said: “The catastrophic impact of Covid on the hospitality industry is undeniable. However, we are witnessing an exceptional rebound in the industry.
