These were the expressions of Higher Education Minister Mohan Yadav as the chief guest of the inaugural session of the two-day international conference at Vikram Kirti Mandir here on Saturday. The conference on “Independence in Education and National Education Policy” was organized under the joint venture of Vikram University and Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas.

During the inaugural session of the conference, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Akhilesh Kumar Pandey expressed his view saying that there should be a difference between freedom and independence. The new generation must acquire values ​​along with education. We need to bring the Indian research tradition to the global forum.

Keynote speaker Ashok Kadel said independence is also needed in daily life and in the functioning of the country as well as education which must first start with the family without which a healthy society cannot be formed. The special guest of the program, Prof. Nageshwara Rao, Vice Chancellor, IGNOU University, New Delhi, expressed his views on the Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas that it is working in all parts of the country for an implementation effective implementation of the policy and raised awareness of the national education policy in the society.

The welcome speech was delivered by Registrar Dr. Prashant Puranik. Prof. Shailendra Kumar Sharma led the proceedings while the vote of thanks was delivered by the conference organizer, Dr. DD Bedia. On the first day of the two-day State-level Youth Mahapanchayat held in Rabindra Bhawan, Bhopal was broadcast live in the auditorium hall of Government Girls Post-graduate College as instructed by the Commissioner for higher education MP.
