Victor Huang Joins Yield Engineering Systems (YES) as Vice President of Legal Affairs | News

FREMONT, Calif., January 13, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — YES (Yield Engineering Systems, Inc.), a leading manufacturer of process equipment for advanced semiconductor packaging, life sciences and “More-than-Moore” applications, today announced that Victor Huang joined the company as senior vice president of legal affairs.

Mr. Huang has served as both general counsel for startups and intellectual property counsel for some of the world’s largest technology companies, including eBay and Illumina, and has built and strategically managed patent portfolios in various markets. While working to protect and expand YES’ intellectual property assets, he will also develop the legal function and advise the company on licensing and joint development agreements, merger and acquisition activities and a wide range corporate legal tasks and concerns, including employment and compliance.

Mr. Huang holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Davis, and received his JD from University of San Francisco Law School. He has a particular interest in issues related to open source programs, including compliance, product security, and community relations.
